About Me

Lawrence Fianko, MSW, LSW is an experienced Licensed Social Worker committed to pursuing social change on behalf of vulnerable and oppressed individuals globally.

Upon his arrival in the United States from Ghana, West Africa, he enrolled at Bronx Community College where he obtained his Associates Degree in Human Services. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Social Work at Lehman College, went on to attend Indiana University where he obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Addictions. Works full time as an Addictions Therapist

When he is not busily providing therapeutic services, Mr. Fianko is behind the desk of Educational Communities Worldwide, an educational non-profit organization which he co-founded and is the current CEO of. His non-profit focuses on providing opportunities including but not limited to full-ride scholarships, internship opportunities, free school supplies and skills development courses to underprivileged students in Africa
