​​Family Retirement was established in 2018, following KJ's four-year tenure at a small independent firm. Recognizing the value of being an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), she embarked on establishing her own practice with a focus on comprehensive planning that incorporates family members and encourages open dialogues about finance.

As a Master Registered Financial Consultant (MRFC®), Life Insurance Agent, and a member of the National Ethics Association, KJ is well-versed in the financial planning process. She holds the distinction of being the first female in the state of Washington to achieve an MRFC®. Her commitment to ongoing education is evident through her events at schools and workplaces, providing generational solutions in an ever-changing financial landscape.
