About Me

I am a health coach for people with digestion issues. What many people do not know is that I have an auto-immune condition that creates painful inflammations at random times. The official name of this is called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS).

Do you have it too?

It first happened to me three years ago. I did not realize so many people suffer from this, but they are too embarrassed to tell their doctors (they would tell me to shove more antibiotics down my throat and consider surgery). To be completely honest, I have yet to find a person in real life who has HS. The worst part about all of this is that there is NO cure. Super!

I thought this was my fate. I have always been positive and hopeful about life, but having these inflammations pop up randomly that take MONTHS to heal can break people down physically, mentally, emotionally, AND socially. I felt alone and helpless. Was I born this way? Where did I mess up? How many people like me are out there?

Thanks to the internet I found an HS online community. This blessing became the starting point of my journey to becoming a healer. During this time I realized that my auto-immune condition started from gut disharmony. Wow! I felt like I found a missing key to the treasure box full of life.

I only had one inflammation this year, and now it doesn't even hurt! My belief is that I received this illness so that I can be more self-aware and fulfill my life's calling as a health coach. It doesn't feel "work" to me because each healing session with clients is mutually empowering and transformative.
