About Me

I have been self employed for over two decades. For the last ten of those I have been working closely with entrepreneurs helping them plan, run and refine their businesses. Working with triple bottom line strategies (people, planet and profit) I help entrepreneurs find their own way of solving problems while sharing the very best of good practice; knowledge gained from study, my own personal experience as a business owner, and, working with over 300 entrepreneurs in over 2,000 hours of direct coaching experience. My focus is on HR and solving the inevitable hiring, management and administrative challenges bringing people into your organization can create (including Employment Standards and WCB compliance).

With a keen eye on cash flow, I take a holistic view of business and know how each area interrelates with the others. This knowledge coupled with a collaborative approach gives you access to a full 360 view when tackling the challenges entrepreneurship brings.

One of my recent successes includes taking an IT start up from inception to a $5 million valuation in 18 months.

I am very active in the Vancouver entrepreneurship and IT scene and am a business coach for the BCIC New Ventures Competition; WES BC; CYBF; YMCA Youth Entrepreneur Program to name but a few. I also teach HR, Succession Planning and Business Operations locally and have taught Marketing in the not too distant past.
