About Me

I became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Bodywork Practitioner in 1998 and worked in the holistic healthcare field as a massage therapist for 18 years. In 2008, I became an Ordained Interfaith Minister through Universal Ministries and have worked closely with Lakota, Cree and Wyandotte Natives on issues of social justice, ecological preservation and human rights in the Great Lakes Region for the last 15 years. I obtained an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development in 2009 and opened a state licensed early childhood development center working with international families and teaching parenting classes to at-risk families. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies in 2013 and a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2017. I became trained in EMDR therapy in 2018 and enjoy working with veterans, first responders and survivors of rape, domestic abuse and natural disasters. As a private practice clinician today, I have relocated to Oregon and became certified as a life coach to provide online services to help my local community with practical, evidence based approaches to overcome anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma and co-occurring disorders. I am a down-to-earth, solution focused coach, ready to meet you where you are at, and come up with a strategy that works for you!
