About Me
I am a certified professional coach and have a passion for understanding how things work. I have an engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. I spent 14 years working for a government special district leading mapping and data efforts and helping to build internal applications. Most of my expertise was self-taught. I saw opportunities for improvement of processes and then figured out how to enhance the systems in place.
I bring the same drive and curiosity to my coaching practice. With my clients, I explore motivations, beliefs, blocks, focus and more. I help clients understand how they operate and how to fine tune and enhance those operations for success. My clients are curious about themselves and motivated to learn, grow, and develop a mastery mindset. They practice integrity and are ready to remove blocks, take action and be accountable.
I enjoy challenges that are unique and adventurous in nature. I am passionate about learning to overcome limitations and unlearning things that came from a place of fear. I have a calm presence and create space for my clients to explore at their own pace and free from judgement in order for clients to play full out. We learn together what works, and more importantly, what does not work and why. We identify and test a personal success formula for clients to implement and put into practice what they discover in our coaching journey.
My husband and I met in college. I am a stepmom to two grown-up kids and we welcomed our son to the world in March 2020. I am a scaredy-cat who likes a challenge. I'll never get enough of that wonderful feeling that comes after doing something I didn't know I could. I'm focused on finding unique and exciting new experiences to conquer. I'm a Colorado native who loves the outdoors and building communities of family and friendship. I'm an animal lover, tree hugger, escape room enthusiast, and I absolutely love what I do.

Julia is a kind, compassionate coach who with her gentle yet direct approach, has helped me gain a great deal of clarity and understanding, which helps me work toward and achieve my goals. She adeptly picks up on subtleties I may miss, and this allows me the opportunity to clearly evaluate my thoughts and beliefs and determine what's working for me, what isn't, and what sorts of changes I want to see. It is a joy to work with Julia and I highly recommend her as a coach.

Just when I think I've thought of everything, that I'm burnt out in my own problem-solving, or that I'm struggling in my ability to shift perspective, Julia helps me recognize there is still opportunity and relief in leaning on and being challenged by a great coach. She listens intuitively, she works with me to think creatively, and simply holds the space to breathe and see things clearly. Thanks to you, Julia, for all that you are!

Julia was a fantastic coach. She was kind and allowed me the space and direction to gain a better understanding of my inner motivations. When I started coaching with Julia I was having a lot of sadness and anger around my job. After coaching for a few months I was able to leave my job and now work in setting thats better than I could have imagined.
