About Me

I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF). I have served as a career coach at Google for many years, interviewed over a hundred candidates at Google, and led the career development and promotion discussions for many professionals.
Here's a bit more about my background, and why I may be a fit for you.
After six years of business consulting at Accenture, I attended UCLA Anderson School of Management, getting an MBA in Entrepreneurship. I worked at several startups in various managerial and executive roles, and was the Founder and CEO of a startup.
When I joined Google 12+ years ago, I led a sales team of 25 people, responsible for over $100 million of revenue. Although I enjoyed leading the team to achieve quarterly sales quotas and growing our business, I realized that I was passionate about helping the members of my team in their career development. For example, I coached them on applying to MBA and other grad schools, landing more senior roles within Google, making a career change to other industries or companies, or finding a job in another city or country.

Josh has taken a “solution oriented” approach, which involves working with me to objectively assess my personal situation (with empathy!), understand my career development goals and trajectory, as well as provide guidance to evaluate different options that can help balance my work and life. He really pushed me to think what I want to achieve in the long term and asked me to identify steps I can take to work toward that goal.
