About Me

I’m a Harvard trained physician, certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach (American College of Lifestyle Medicine), an NBHWC certified Health and Wellness coach, and a Harvard CHEF certified culinary coach.

It is estimated that 80% of all chronic illness can be prevented or significantly improved with lifestyle modification (including nutrition, stress, sleep and exercise). The current medical system is geared to dealing with the symptoms (and only occasionally the causes) of acute conditions that need treatment. It is not so effective at preventing and managing most conditions that afflict our lives. This is what I focus on.

When we work together, I will spend a significant amount of time getting to know you so that you can speak freely about your hopes, needs and aspirations. Then you will craft an individualized plan that we will review and modify, as necessary, based on the knowledge you’ve gained. This is not a prescription from me, but a plan that you design for yourself with my support.

Whether you are dealing with diabetes, blood pressure, weight loss, chronic pain, IBS, food sensitivities, etc. I’m available to help guide you through it.

Personally, I’ve been exploring how the foods we eat impact our health and lives since I was a child. I bake, cook, and experiment with foods extensively. My children have severe food allergies and that has pushed me to create really great tasting foods using what sometimes feels like limited ingredients.
