I began college like most students – excited AF! I was in the big leagues now. Time to get $hit done, right? Except I didn’t. I spent my time on all the wrong things. I partied too much. I procrastinated. My grades slipped. I made friends with the wrong people. I literally made every mistake in the book. Because…well, there isn’t a book! No one is there to tell you how to do college!

Suddenly your classes are HUGE, your professors don’t offer the time or support they did in high school. No one knows if you go to class or not. So you don’t. And you pay, just like I did.

My first semester I managed to lose a scholarship, my honors college standing, and even get in trouble with the law. Something had to give, but I had no idea where to start.

Sure colleges have therapists, but I didn’t need a therapist. I needed a guide, a mentor someone who’d been where I have been. Someone that I could tell anything. Someone who wouldn’t judge me but could still call me out on my bullshit. Someone to root for me no matter what.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find that person. I continued to struggle. College seemed to creep by painstakingly. But when I finally hit my stride, I started to THRIVE. I went from a 2.4 gpa, to being accepted into the PhD program of my choice, where my favorite times were spent mentoring students just like you.

I teach students a comprehensive framework that will help you achieve a new level of success as a student and a human being. The course is formulated for students who want to manage time effectively and cultivate passion for your work, so you can increase your performance in classes (think GPA!) and become a competitive applicant for your next professional endeavor.
