About Me

I believe that even if we're never "ready to quit" that person, place or thing, we still deserve unconditional compassion, support, and respect along the way. My name is Ivy and I am a recovery coach. I use different trauma informed healing methods and modalities, including inner child work, getting out of the drama triangle, dealing with dissociative numbing, executive functioning issues, and abandonment wounds. I focus on things I have lived experience with. This includes alcohol, marijuana, and stimulant addiction, abusive romantic relationships, co-dependency, growing up in extreme poverty and homelessness during childhood, neglect and witnessing domestic violence throughout childhood, sexual abuse and dysfunction in childhood and adulthood, mental illness/addiction in the family, different types of eating disorders, self-harm, intrusive thoughts, parentification, emotional incest, narcissistic abuse, and sexual harassment in the workplace. I love to help people find themselves so they can love themselves.
