About Me
My passion is to help people perform their best when it counts the most. My coaching style is engaging and empathetic, combined with an intense desire to have my clients reach their goals. When I take on a client, I am 100% invested in their success!
My philosophy is that cognitive development and the ability to improve performance in any area of life is based on skills that can be learned. The work I've done with athletes, business executives, actors and life coaching with individuals has shown me there are 5 critical components to mental toughness. Therefore, much of my work with clients involves increasing motivation, confidence, the ability to focus, emotional control and distress tolerance in performance situations. I use evidence based, mind training practices that have been proven to be effective with clients in many different areas of performance.
I believe my varied background has given me the experience and skills necessary to help anyone reach their goals. I have a M.A. with a specialization in sport/performance psychology from San Diego St. University and before that a B.A. from The George Washington University where I worked on Capitol Hill for several years. I have also worked with a big corporation, as well as students with learning disabilities and individuals from all walks of life seeking clarity of purpose. I have come to appreciate that my different experiences and my own ups and downs in life helped prepare me to work with a wide range of people.
I live on Cape Cod, MA with my wife and children, but am available by phone or video conferencing to any location. Please check out my website and give me a call for a free initial consult. Look forward to hearing from you!
