About Me

There are many different kinds of barriers we can come across in life that can prohibit us from living the fulfilling life that we want. Sometimes these barriers are in our environment, and sometimes they are inside us. Either way, if we gain enough awareness to identify them, that will give us the power and the choice to make different decisions that can help us break through these barriers.

As a psychologist by training, I approach coaching in a scientific and measured way that prioritizes your wellbeing, needs, goals, and values. I use the S.M.A.R.T. goals idea when we set goals at the initial meeting, which stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely goals, that can allow us to identify barriers to what is getting in your way, and also identify the progress that you make to each goal. It's important to make goals less abstract and more concrete, and S.M.A.R.T. goals can help us with that.

In addition to setting goals, we will identify any skills that you're missing that may be contributing to your struggles, and we will work to learn this skill, and recognize your personal strengths that you can utilize to achieve mastery in your work and personal life.
