About Me

I'm Dr. Gloria Hudson, and I empower others to take control of their lives, health, relationships, businesses, and careers. As to my professional credentials, I graduated with honors from the University of Southern California and continued at National University, receiving a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, then advancing on to The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I earned a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. I have over 17 years of direct client therapy experience as a therapist in residential addiction treatment centers, child adolescent centers, with the Department of Children & Family Services, and as a Psychologist in a men’s level IV prison. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families experiencing severe mental health, trauma, relationship conflict, and addictive disorders related to gambling, sex, eating, codependency, and substance abuse. As a former therapist and psychological assistant, my professional experience includes couples counseling, addiction, trauma/PTSD, depression, anger, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, OCD, anxiety, and eating disorders. Under a licensed supervisor, I have provided therapy to clients who have experienced significant trauma from child abuse, communication problems in relationships and marriages, and internal conflicts regarding life or career choices. Since my goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and to get you back on track- I utilize a Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Holistic approach whereby I collaborate with you as the client on the desired goals.
