About Me

Gina was born and raised in Madison, WI and has over a decade of career development experience. While working in the Human Resources field for a few years, she became interested in the hiring process and helping people promote themselves to obtain employment. She was lucky enough to find a job managing the alumni career services program for the Wisconsin Alumni Association, when she discovered her love of career development, and where she helped hundreds of clients in job search strategies, resume perfecting and general employment services.

She is now Associate Director of Career & Leadership Development at the Wisconsin School of Business, where she helps future business leaders find relevant and meaningful employment. She founded CareerLight, LLC in 2013 to utilize her experience in human resources, career development and 1000+ resume reviews to work for the local community and job seekers nationwide.

Gina holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a master’s in counseling degree from Lakeland College and obtained her Career Development Facilitator’s Certification from the University of Wisconsin training program.
