About Me

Parenting is the toughest job in the world. I'm happy to have raised both of my adult sons to become overachieving adults. It wasn't easy. One was bullied and the other had anger issues. But now both, in their early 20's, are earning six digit incomes in successful careers. (No they're not working for me.)

Would I do everything the same if I had to do it over? Of course not. I see plenty of room for improvement in my own parenting. That's why I'm involved in helping so many other parents doing a better job.

I'm a strong believer that challenges are the seeds of success. My technique is simple. You record your conversations with your child. You review those conversations and make notes. Then we review them together and improve your conversations through practice. (Note texting doesn't work)

My Top Tips on Parenting:
1. It's not about you anymore. Your job is to provide what they need, not what they want.
2. Don't decide from emotions. Act on what's best for your child.
3. Develop long-term habits. Self-talk is important, for you and your child. Think about the right things, and it will happen.
