About Me
I am an Embodied Leadership and Somatic Coach with 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, management, organizational development, and strategy.
It's clear to me that we need more than our mind and logic to solve the problems of our modern workplace. Many leaders are cultured in styles of leadership that don't serve or are even detrimental; many nonprofit and direct service workers aren't taught the skills to show up fully with their own clients without becoming armored or numb to the rest of life. It's harming us, our teams, our organizations, and our families.
I incorporate somatics, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, movement, and leadership best practices into my coaching work, honed through training in Presence Based Coaching, the Strozzi Institute, and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. I believe in building leadership capacity from within, using a holistic, trauma-informed approach that combines mind, heart, and body to enhance personal and professional growth.
How did I get into this work? Several years ago, I found myself telling a friend that I couldn't breathe. What I meant was, it feels like there's no time, the expectations of others are pressing in, I've lost my purpose in this work. Around the same time, a coach guided me to demonstrate how I approached two different direct reports – not from a hypothetical perspective, but by getting me up and moving. These two moments woke me up: saying it out loud and moving my body through it gave me a different perspective on what I said and what I did, what I valued and how I demonstrated it, and the role I was playing in the situation I said I didn't want.
I love working with emerging leaders and new managers, those from nonprofit and direct service sectors, and folks outside of traditional work contexts who are seeking more purpose, balance, and clarity. If you are curious and equity-focused, open to exploring self-awareness, values alignment, and practicing something new, let's chat!

I met with Erin for six months, and the coaching she provided was truly life-changing. When we first connected, I was in a state of hopeless burnout, and desperate to end the cycle of stress and sickness. With Erins guidance, I developed new skills to rewire my brain and body, harnessing the ability to make major decisions for myself and my future happiness. The results of those decisions have been beautiful. I absolutely would not have arrived at my current destination so seamlessly without Erins insight and support. I am so thankful for her kindness, grace and wisdom.

**5-Star Review. Amazing Experience!** Before working with Erin, I was struggling to focus and stay productive at work. I was also feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and had a hard time managing expectations. Erin helped me to understand the connection between my mind and body. She taught me how to pay attention to my physical sensations and how to use them to improve my focus, energy, and performance. Through somatic coaching with Erin, I have learned how to: * Pay attention to my body's signals and use them to improve my awareness and performance * Use my breath to regulate my emotions and improve my focus * Move my body in ways that promote relaxation and well-being * Use my body's responses to identify and address stress * Navigate and process trauma Erin is a skilled and compassionate coach who has helped me to make significant progress in my personal and professional life. I am so grateful for her guidance and support. If you are looking to improve your productivity, work performance, or overall well-being, I highly recommend working with Erin. She is an amazing coach who can help you to achieve your goals.

Erin served as a magician during an epoch of accelerated introspection for me; her craft entailed a dance engaging embodiment, presence, question, and thought that yielded the illumination of paths within that have led to my more genuine gait in the navigation of all things personal and professional. My discoveries were not hers, but were purely my own - a testament to her adeptness and individualized approach to encouraging her clients to bring to light and interpret for themselves what is already there, but awaited conjuring.

Erin has played a crucial role in helping me navigate a pivotal career transition. She took the time to listen attentively and truly grasp my unique circumstances allowing me to manage the intricacies of this new role with confidence and grace. Erin's holistic approach, addressing not only the technical aspects of the transition but also the emotional and behavioral adjustments required, created a safe space for me to openly explore my fears, doubts, and aspirations, ultimately leading to a greater sense of self-assurance and clarity. Her somatic approach helped to define the way that I wanted to show up as a leader and a co-worker as well as provided me with techniques to help me stay in touch with those guiding principles. I am truly grateful for Erin's guidance and highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to effectively manage their professional responsibilities while also prioritizing their personal well-being, relationships, and interests.
