About Me

I help women who have lost faith in themselves nurture, trust, and act on their intuition. Through a custom blend of coaching, cycle awareness, mindfulness, and embodiment, I will accompany you on a journey home to your most powerful treasure, your relationship to yourself.

After launching a career supporting women leaders, I noticed a trend that prioritized strategy and devalued self-care. When I listened to these women’s stories, it became clear that they were burning out - which is the last thing this world needs! I looked around and noticed the same thing was true for my colleagues.

I attribute this self-doubt and low self-worth to a culture that devalues the sacred feminine qualities of rest, pleasure, and community. Based on my own healing journey, I realized the solution isn’t more strategies - but instead tender self-trust nurtured by tender self-care. The answer isn’t anything you can buy, gather, or find outside of yourself. It’s the simple cultivation of those two magical gifts - your worthiness and your intuition.

Following my own intuitive wisdom, I took a huge leap of faith and traded a jet-setting international dream career based in Washington, DC for the deserts of New Mexico. I received my wellness coaching certification from Coach Training EDU and founded Luminous Leanings, now Ellen Gilbert Coaching.

Now I serve the world through coaching, rooted in a radical self-love that shamelessly pursues rest, pleasure, & community. Shame culture especially teaches women to disbelieve our worthiness and be ashamed of our bodies and desires. This early wounding sets us up for a lifetime of self-rejection and disconnection. When we heal our relationship to Self, we can claim our desires fully because we know they are our birth right. When we heal our relationship to Community, we can shift culture on a grander scale.
