About Me
I pursued coaching because I believe my purpose is to help others and because I know what it takes to change / improve (from my own experience). I am a Certified Integral Associate Coach - meaning I go deep and broad with clients, using a rigorous methodology to build sustainable life skills.
I started in sales at GE Healthcare and, after earning my MBA, my passion was entrepreneurship. I was part of two healthcare startups, one of which I co-founded and both of which were focused on improving healthcare and making it more affordable. Next, I worked on partnerships and strategic pricing at a division of Optum. Most recently, I was a Vice President of Development for DaVita Kidney Care, a Fortune 500 firm that provides dialysis and population health management solutions for renal care patients.
Along the way, I have led, managed, mentored and trained hundreds of professionals. This direct and relevant experience affords me the ability to understand my clients’ current reality and skillfully work with them to craft a program that helps them achieve exceptional results.
Most important, I have grown tremendously as a person, husband, father and leader and get excited every day about helping others.
I hold an M.B.A. in Health Care Management & Strategy from Wharton and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University.
In my spare time, I serve on the Board of The Children's Advocacy Center, a nonprofit that helps kids and families that are victims of abuse and as a volunteer for other nonprofits.
I grew up in Miami (since the age of 6) and now live in the Chicago suburbs. I am also bi-lingual (Spanish) and can coach in both languages. I have lived all over the U.S – Atlanta, Philly, Boston and San Francisco and have traveled extensively, having several continents - even Antarctica. I greatly enjoy meeting people from all over and relaxing with my family, whether that is on a beach, while SCUBA diving or playing in the snow.
