About Me
Founded by Ed Ballou in 2008 first to document his storm chasing adventures and then a software business (personal & software consulting). While the personal software experiment ended, the consulting continues in the areas of Agile software development and coaching. Ed is dedicated to helping others navigate their storms and increasing awareness of authentic connection & communication with each other.
Ed's mission is to help people navigate the storms of personal and business development.
Ed has completed Fundamentals of Co-Active Coaching and plans to continue in the classes that CTI offers, paying for classes with proceeds from coaching.
I'm also on Twitter (EdBallou) and on LinkedIn.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Reviews
I appreciated when Ed took the time to listen when I was going through a rough patch in life. I was unhappy with both my job and the lack of a romantic relationship at the time. I remember sharing how frustrated and fearful I was about talking to girls that I was interested in. While I was focusing on the frustration, Ed helped me realize that I just need to be myself. I didn’t quite see it that way that night, but the next day offered an opportunity to test it out. Through somewhat unusual circumstances, a girl I liked and myself ended up at a place where neither of us usually visited. I struck up a conversation with her and enjoyed our conversation until I had to leave. It wasn’t until later that I realized the connection (and quick turnaround) from the talk with Ed the night before. Since that talk over a year ago, the idea of being yourself has shown up numerous times from various people. It may not seem easy to be yourself, but it's the most natural way to live, and then people get to know the real you! I’m thankful that Ed took the time to listen to me, and that the advice from him and from other people continues to help me learn and grow.
