About Me

I am a Counselor who has been an educator (from teaching in Alternative Classrooms to Daycare Teacher), and a small business owner. In my work as a counselor I worked with families, children, and adolescents facing issues including relationship struggles, social communication, trauma, anxiety, and depression. My passion as a coach is to help individuals develop better coping skills, to learn that it is okay to reach out first, to accept help and support - then to uncover passions, nurture skills and develop positive, productive futures at work, at home, in their families, and in their relationships.

I have extensive experience working with educators, entrepreneurs, families, individuals with ADHD and attachment issues, individuals struggling with mental health/addiction. However, most of my experience comes from within, from personal experience.

My education includes a B.A. in English/Education with a minor in Business, an A.S. in Human Services, and an M.S. in Community Mental Health Counseling. My coach training was done at the Creative Communication Center in Norwich, VT where I obtained my certification in Holistic Life Coaching (CHLC). As a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC). I have worked in public school systems, Alternative Classrooms, Daycare, Residential Treatment, Community Mental Health facilities, Drug and Alcohol Rehabs, Methadone Clinics, and in Private Practice. Before I got into the Human Services realm, I worked for many small businesses. I know what its like trying to figure out what to do in life. Today I counsel individual, groups, and families and love it. I love my role as a LIfe Coach, and love inspiring others to find their passion!
