About Me
Have you ever experienced the dynamic of what I call "airplane talk" It is amazing how this works and there have been many psychological studies that have found it is a human need to have a sounding board? When you are on an air flight and you sit next to someone and begin talking, or you are the listener and the conversation begins about business, life, stories. Personal, raw, and real with things divulged and a brief relationship is formed. You open up because it is a neutral party, and it feels safe and provides a platform for exchange, venting, a soundboard, verification, clarity, and renewed motivation. Think of me as your extended airplane talk partner, your confidante, advisor, mentor, and coach.
I am a certified executive coach from U.C. Berkeley, Haas Business School-BECI as well as trained and certified in Emotional Intelligence from the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence. I have designed assessment tools for the mental health profession: psychologists, therapists, social workers, and personal and professional development programs. I am a published author and founded a business that has evolved through the years . What I have learned is we all can benefit from a confidante, a neutral party, someone we can confide in privately with the utmost confidentiality. We all get stuck and need clarity, and someone who will be direct with you, logical, and a questioner to help you sort things out, and deliberate with you when facing frustrations, fear, and uncertainty. I specialize in creative change and lead you in mining your possibilities with clear practical goals, developing plans, and accountability measures.
Some of my clients have included executives from Salesforce, BioRad Labs, Moodys, TPI, Inc. Personal Brands, Inc., several start-ups, as well as many individuals seeking answers, more confidence, new habits, and goals for greater self success and overall enhanced well-being.

“I am analytical and like things perfect. I also run a company. I am tough. I quickly realized I needed to fine-tune my leadership style and lighten up to encourage new ideas from employees and be open to exploring and implementing ones that fit. Personally I realized I do have a strong right side of my brain and I can be creatively analytical. I attended this workshop outside and by the end I was using leaves and rocks instead of a brush. It was exhilarating and I have it hung where I can see it everyday. Daryl continued with coaching once a month and I have become a better leader, listener, and communicator.

A Fun Day of Revitalization I'd never participated in anything like this and had the greatest time. Coaching to Massage the Kinks out with Creativity I did not know what to expect of Massaging Creativity, but it turned out to be not only such a fun time, but I came away with a greater awareness of myself. Painting with the guidelines given along with specific questions asked to us brought about inner thought and a relief. The Massaging Creativity session I had was awesome! Honestly, I didn't really know what to expect but I had heard good things and it was recommended to me. The experience really opened up my mind to thinking about my business in new ways. I really didn't "think" of myself as a creative type. But this experience showed me that I'm much more creative than I thought I was.
