About Me

Hi! I’m Danny Herman, a certified Life Coach and Marriage & Family Therapist-in-training based in San Diego. My coaching practice is all about helping people move through life’s messy, in-between seasons with clarity, confidence, and purpose. I support two main groups: youth (ages 8–18) navigating growing pains, and adults (ages 18–40) who feel stuck or unsure of their direction in life or career.

Before coaching, I spent 11 years in the marketing world. I was successful—but unfulfilled. I knew something had to change. So I packed up, and followed a calling I had ignored for too long. That leap of faith led me to graduate school, where I’m now studying to become a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. While therapy will always be part of my path, coaching is where I show up right now to help others feel seen, heard, and supported through change.

My approach is compassionate, curious, and empowering. With kids and teens, I offer a playful yet emotionally grounded space where they can explore their thoughts, regulate emotions, improve confidence, and gain tools for real-life challenges. With adults, I help clarify what matters most, untangle the “stuck” feeling, and co-create a plan to move forward with intention.

This is coaching—not therapy—which means we won’t dwell in the past or diagnose anything. Instead, we’ll focus on where you are now, where you want to go, and what steps feel authentic and aligned for you. I believe in growth through conversation, reflection, and action—and I bring warmth, creativity, and a bit of “let’s get real” energy to every session.
