About Me

I consider myself a holistic and integrative coach who is caring, empathetic, patient, and client-centered. I use humor and my own lived experience to build relationships with my clients. You feeling safe and secure in our relationship is the of the upmost importance to me.

I offer my clients opportunities to learn about self-care, mindfulness, meditation, and how to lessen the impacts of negative self-talk. Mindfulness can be achieved through different forms such as focusing on the present-moment and non-judgmentally accepting your internal experiences. I have my own mindfulness practice and have personally experienced a decrease in my racing thoughts and stress level. Mindfulness is a great practice for clients of all ages to decrease anxiety, stress, improve concentration and overall performance at school and work. I am also trained in Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I work with children, adults, and families. I help my clients learn to cope and heal from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harming, suicidal ideation, PTSD, trauma, abuse (sexual/psychological/emotional/physical), neglect and abandonment. I enjoy working with adult children of alcoholics, grief and loss, and caregiver stress. My goal is to help my clients feel empowered and provide hope they can heal from any painful past or present experiences in their lives.

I attended Cal State University Long Beach for my undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Studies. I am currently attending University of Southern California’s Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and am on the path to becoming a licensed Clinical Social Worker.
