During my participation in a series of transformational education workshops, I had the good fortune to experience Cloe Andrade as a coach. At first appearance, I observed Cloe as powerful, persistent, and full of integrity: exactly the kind of woman who simultaneously impressed & (full disclosure) intimidated me. As student participants in these workshops, my peers and I were very impressed with Cloe and her capacity to coach from a place of strength and love. It was during the third, 90-day training that I had the opportunity to work very closely with Cloe and had the benefit of her undivided attention. The one word that describes her most accurately is RELENTLESS. As in, the relentless stand she takes for the people she is committed to supporting. The devotion with which Cloe supports others to achieve their hopes, dreams, and aspirations is always crystal clear. Cloe has a talent for creating challenges, or cathartic experiences, through which those whom she coaches can work out a long-term hurt/pain, become unstuck, or otherwise just move forward powerfully. She creates a safe and supportive space into which we can step and share; she asks great, probing questions; she listens intently and with her heart; and then she uses her wonderful creative gifts to connect with us, and connect us to ourselves in a meaningful, life-affirming way. It is through my experience of being coached by Cloe and her courageous, loving ways of being that I learned how to shift myself and choose something different when I was not moving forward. It is also due to Cloe and everything that she taught me and demonstrated for me that I had the courage to step into my power and serve as coach in the very same series of workshops in which I had been a student. Cloe is everything one could want in a coach powerful, supportive, relentless, loving, honest, creative, sensitive; and ready, will and able to make a difference.
