About Me

My Name is
Christine Matthews,
LCSW, MBA, CLC, CCTP.
I am the Owner and
Psychotherapist at
Never Journey Alone, LLC and developer of Leveling up in Private Practice self -pace Coaching program.
My group private practice
is maintained in Colmar,
PA.
I am a graduate of
Thiel College with a BA in
Psychology,
The University of Pittsburgh
with an MSW, the University of Waynesburg with an
MBA. Also, a Certified Life Coach from Coach
Training Alliance and a Certified Clinical Trauma
Professional from IATP.

Never Journey Alone started as a Life Coaching Practice
in 2008 and in 2017 Outpatient Mental Health Therapy
Services was added. Within 1 year the Mental Health
Practice grew at a speed I could not alone, keep up
with.
Also, there was and still is a demand in my area
for Mental health therapists of color.
It has always been important to me to continue
servicing my ideal clients and my passion would not
allow me to accept burn out, but to consider leveling
up my private practice!
At the end of 2018, I determined for me to stay in
private practice, to do what I love, I needed to
transition to group practice.
Let’s face it, we transition from community agency work
to Solo Private Practice for 4 main reasons:
1. Serve your ideal client
2. Have more time freedom to be with our loved ones,
travel, write a book, etc
3. Be your own boss
4. Dictate our own revenue.
