About Me

I work with proactive clients who, like myself have suffered some form of cardiac event (diagnosis, heart attack, heart surgery, stent, etc.) and desperately want to successfully recover and live a life full of heart-healthy food, fitness, and fun. Through the “Live Your Ideal Heart Life Program's" seminars, private and group coaching, clients learn to design and embrace their “Ideal Heart Life” within, build confidence, eliminate self-doubt, overcome negative emotions, and trust themselves to accomplish all that they desire. I have never forotten the "caregivers and family." I am equally devoted to helping them as the take on and live this new role and life.

I am fiercely committed to empowering clients to think creatively, communicate their goals and take responsibility for their day-to-day heart-healthy living and actions. My clients will tell you that I am totally dedicated to their success and that I am a straight-shooter with a respectful and understanding approach .

After a varied career spanning more than forty years, including 21 years of military service (Airborne Infantry), senior level positions in state government, corporate leadership, and management consulting, I found himself, in 2008, having quadruple heart bypass surgery (CABGx4) and to date I have six stents. Determined to change my life, live my ideal life, and to finally do something bigger than myself, I decided to build upon my Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development and become a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Index - Master Practitioner. My path led me to the leading life coaching school in the nation, the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I believe that since our mutual diagnosis, heart attack, or surgery didn’t kill us, it may be time to look at our life and live the one we want.
