About Me
I come with an interesting mix of talents, having had a successful career in Advanced Prototype Engineering, working with such notables as Chrysler Motor Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Corporation, and the Department of Defense (DOD), my engineering career spanned over 15 years. I left engineering after a short stay in Egypt in 1997 and found that I need to devote my time not to machines but people.
After arriving back in the states I set on working for the greater good, as a teacher, writer, and coach. I have held such positions as Engineering Instructor, Grant Writer, Director of Development, Executive Director, Team Mentor/Coach and Foundation CEO.
For the past 15 years I have assisted and worked within the Non-profit sector developing fundraising strategy, granted programming, and new approaches to organizational development.
These days I live a very moderate life with the 4 men in my life; Harry my boyfriend of 8+ years soon to be my husband and a twin, Bailey my beautiful Miniature Australian Shepard, Fred the stray barn cat and last Bill my gorgeous Haflinger horse I rescued.
I live in a cabin in the woods with nature all around me, deer, wild turkey, fox, and coyotes. Most of my land is in preserve for the wild life and I have many paths I walk to view the beauty all around me. I fill my time with projects; planning & building a fodder barn to grow Hydroponic feed for Bill, planning a pond construction for migratory birds, and learning how to drive a buggy (Amish style).
My work life has been interesting, with so many career transitions it was a natural fit to go into coaching full time, as a professional life, career, and small business coach who has spent 20 + years helping thousands of professionals to create success that's balanced.
I feel fortunate to have found my calling as a coach and am passionate about making a difference in other peoples' lives.
