About Me

With over 30 years experience in public education --as well as consulting experience in government and the private sector, I bring a wealth of authentic skill experience, relevance and proven excellence to my coaching practice. Blending expertise in communication (written and spoken) with humor, empathy and real life knowledge (weight loss of 100 pounds +, development of public education model, cruise ship speaking employment, published author... and more!) of the challenges required to live authentically, I can help clients define, recognize, target ... and MEET personal goals!
I know the difference between "coaching" and "preaching"... as well as how to to be a source of support... but not a source to enable negativity.
My coaching successes in the past have run the gamete from working with troubled teens and parents on family issues, to supporting adults struggling with self-concept issues , to assisting individuals identify and correct deeply rooted problems in their personal and professional lives.
I believe that any problem has some solution.
Some solutions are easy to identify; many are not.
Our challenge, as intelligent human beings, is to identify the factors that can be mitigated or capitalized... and then to design a specific approach to best meet the issues head on.
My personal style of being honest, direct, and empathetic ... but NOT a pushover!!!... have helped me coach both individuals and groups toward their own successes.
While part of my job as a coach is to help clients identify their goals, at the end of the day, it is-- after all-- the client who must define what accomplishments will define "success" to them... so I am , always, the support... not the architect... of the dream!
