About Me
Since I can remember, I have always been drawn to helping others to see their problems in a new way, to look from a new perspective at what is happening in their lives, and to take the needed action to be happier. However, after a gazillion conversations with friends and family needing assistance, I finally understood that credentials are as important as listening skills, good intentions, and life experience.
Thus, on a good day, when I was done raising children and I ran out of excuses, I followed my own good-intended friends’ advice, and I went back to school. I was 52. After 3 years of college, I looked at my options from a different perspective and decided that instead of becoming a therapist I wanted to be a life coach. I knew I didn’t want to dwell in people’s past, what I really wanted was to help people to move forward to the life they wanted for themselves. So, I took the risk, I looked for the best coaching program I could find, and I got my certification after 14 months of simultaneous and intensive work on myself and on my formation as a life coach.
Today, as a Certified Life Coach with training in the Fearless Living Institute, I help my clients to shed light on how fear keeps them stuck, feeling guilty, shameful, frustrated, victimized…ultimately, that dreadful feeling of not being good enough. On the other hand, with the teachings and support of Positive Intelligence, which is continuously giving me knowledge and training in Mental Fitness, I can provide my clients with scientifically proven tools to shift from negative self-talk to self-acceptance and at last, self-love.

Camila came into my life at one of the biggest transitions in my life- moving to Africa with my 3 small children amidst a desired career change, a major home renovation with financial debt, and what felt like millions of impossible loose ends to tie up. I wanted to do it all at lightning speed, ignoring the speed bumps that force us to stop, listen, recalibrate, enjoy, love and breathe. Through the PQ (Positive Intelligence) program, I realized that the hyper achiever in me (which I recognized with Camilas help) was in full force, as it had been my entire life and kept me in doubt and buried under a pile of heavy To-Dos. After digging deep- with Camilas gentle way of guiding- I realized what I want more than anything in the world didnt have to do with my career, financial stability, or getting my ducks in a row to transition to a new life overseas. It was simply, to enjoy my time with my family rather than feeling exhausted and overwhelmed by the rollercoaster of being a parent. To go with the flow, like surfing a wave, with laughter and lightheartedness rather than finding perfection. Camila listened, questioned, challenged, and HEARD me. She used tools from her training as a PQ practitioner and from the Fearless Living Program, based on what she felt would best support me. She asked me weighty questions which I carried throughout the day, examining my life using those questions, coming to conclusions which fueled more questions. This coaching experience was one of noticing when Im going down a road which will lead to disarray and- metaphorically and even literally- stepping off that road into the fields, listening to the birds, feeling the breeze on my face, and then stepping back onto that road once I feel the burden lifted. Camila doesnt approach me with judgment, but instead with a combination of amusement and support. She is also on this journey and shares her struggles and her experiences. She often points out a new angle or a new question for me to consider, is a encourager who sees my heart and my actions makes me feel like my story and experience is unique and special and significant. She sees what direction Im going in and follows me helping refresh my steps and propel me onward, making me feel like its ok, its possible, Im ok just as I am, and that we just do this one step at a time. She reminded me to, Just breathe when I didnt know what to do, and that I am a human being, not a human doing. Thanks for those quotes, Camila! Theyre so true! Now I am much more observant and curious about myself and I accept my circumstances more readily. I can more quickly identify when fear keeps me frozen, paralyzed, resentful, or angry. I dont blame the situation or people as much, but I look for a way to do what needs to be done. Camila gave me the permission I desperately needed to break away from the whirlwind of perceived responsibilities and urgent tasks and just be in the moment with my kids playing games, in nature, finding peace in music, and striving to place relationships as the #1 item on my To-do list. Camila has a heart of gold, a refreshing sense of humor, a way of finding the core message in conversations, and is truly an artist in her creative and passionate approach to helping others.

My coaching experience with Camila was life-altering. I was really "stuck" in many aspects of my life and she guided me back to a focused life. One of the most valuable tools Camila shared was Positive Intelligence. I am reminded daily about its principles of how to approach life with more positivity. While being compassionate, she also kept me focused on my goals and adhering to benchmarks along my journey. Camila has a special gift to share with others going through transition. Without reservation, I highly recommend working with her.
