I grew up just outside of McDonald, PA on a small farm, where we raised pigs and grew various vegetables. I had exposure to business at a young age due to family members having various businesses. I have always had an compassion for animals and nature. About the age of 14 I started researching and learning about plants and the medicinal properties on my own. I believe that everything here on this earth is beneficial to us in some positive way, sometimes the uses are unknown and need a little more exploration. I lived in Japan as an exchange student at the age of 15. When I came back from my study abroad, I enhanced my language skills by taking Russian and continued studying through college achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Languages and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I lived in Moscow, Russia for a semester and attended Moscow Humanitarian University.
Throughout my journey of life, I was a temporary employee for years and worked in various capacities where I learned many hard and soft skills when it comes to business. Once I completed my undergraduate degree, I started working in the construction industry. I began as an administrative assistant and then became a technician that tested all materials on the job site. After that I became a heavy highway construction inspector. While working full time, I attended Point Park University and obtained a Master of Engineering Management as well as a Master of Business Administration degrees.
Through all the education and experience both professionally and personally, I still found something missing from my life. I found that I was not using my creativity anymore. I am currently Reiki 2 certified. I found that helping people is my true passion.
