About Me

I am a bilingual psychotherapist and coach who specializes in working with young adults with learning differences. Having managed a learning difference myself, I know how it important it is to have a coach who understands your unique strengths and weaknesses, and how they manifest in your professional and social life.
My philosophy for the workplace includes building on your unique strengths to find solutions for organizing your work assignments, identifying when and how to self-disclose, and utilizing your team. We will review questions such as what is my company culture like? How do I know what the expectations are? How can I optimize my time? What can I do if I need help in understanding different company expectations? Sometimes, these challenges are complicated by a learning difference, such as ADHD, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, or another kind of processing challenge. Therefore, it is critical to think about how you can optimize your own success by planning for your weaknesses, or creating strategies that help you to compensate.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I also know that there are many individuals with learning differences who also struggle with mental health concerns. Symptoms of anxiety and depression are common, and having a coach who can also provide psychotherapy is something that is needed for many clients.
