I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and a Certified Executive Coach and have been in business for awhile. I am also a registered nurse and have experience working with people in the field of health and wellness for over 30 years. I have a PhD in Nursing from University of Maryland and a Masters of Business Administration/Masters in Health Care Administration from Johns Hopkins University. I have been teaching for over 10 years at the graduate level and have provided over 100 workshops and presentations about health and wellness, leadership, and team building. I love helping people figure out what they want in life, reach their fullest potential and thrive in any situation.

The definition of coaching that I use is the one from the International Coach Federation: "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today's uncertain and complex environment."  And I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.

I use several different proven strategies during coaching that will help you work towards your goals. My model is centered around you, the client, meaning that you decide what you want to work on and we collaborate to identify the path you are willing to travel to overcome obstacles and reach goals. You need to be willing to be the driver and I will be there to help you stay on the road. I may challenge you to go places you never thought you would go and to overcome roadblocks in new ways so you can learn during the journey. My coaching will help you find your way to reach your destination and enjoy the ride as we work together.
