About Me

You've heard the saying: "Do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." As a business advisor of a Small Development Business Center, I found myself working my dream job. Every new business I helped start, every dollar I helped entrepreneurs obtain was a grand achievement worthy of celebration! In a way, I lived vicariously through my clients.

Unfortunately, that came crashing to an end when my entire department got laid off one afternoon.

Then worries set in. What would I do now? What if I couldn't find another job in the same line of work. I absolutely loved helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. I'd finally found a career I loved, and I feared it was slipping through my fingers.

I realized that I couldn't give up my dream job. That's when I decided to start Backbone America. I would continue doing what I loved but as my own boss. And that's what I did.

Through a combination of coaching and consulting, I help entrepreneurs transform their ideas into successful businesses. Running a successful business takes focus and clarity. Through our coaching sessions, you'll find both. Then I help you build the confidence and determination to boldly take the steps to reach your goals.

I supplement my coaching services with the experience, resources, and connection I've gained as a business advisor. Once goals are in place, I simplify the process by matching you with tools to quickly take you from point A to point B.

I have worked with nearly 200 entrepreneurs on their business goals. Together we’ve started companies, expanded exponentially, created jobs, and injected nearly $1.2 million dollars into their business startup and expansion projects. My clients and I are doing great things and working on building strong communities with their successful small businesses.
