About Me
I am Astrid, a certified life coach and soon-to-be licensed psychotherapist in New York City. My coaching approach is focused on exploring different parts of the human psyche and creating a dialogue between those parts. In my world, we call it "Trans-Personal Coaching" - an integration of parts into oneness, which creates a new level of self-awareness and personal growth.
I look at coaching as a "different kind of psychotherapy", where the focus is on the present moment, the experience of body sensations, and the creation of future unique goals.
My ideal client is someone who has never felt loved in a relationship, who grew up in a dysfunctional family or lives in a toxic environment now.
I will meet you with an open presence, knowing the infinite potential in you, and handling with care the difficulties you experience at the moment.
There are many techniques that I like to use, which include, but are not limited to, guided imagery, meditations, coaching tools like "The Stamp", "The Marionette", "The Mountain", Metaphoric Associative Cards, etc.
