About Me
Most people know me as a former international business development executive.
I worked in highly demanding environments, working with people in highly volatile and stressful situations. I was seen a teacher, mentor and leader, keeping control and keeping calm under pressure.
My competitive sports background also gave me resilience to in the complex work environment.
I kept moving forward, focused on the corporate goals, pushing for the next big opportunity.
I transition into leadership working with major corporate institutions or start-ups. Managed global sales distribution, in multiple markets, developed new markets and new innovative products.
People would say of me that I’m known for being the person rolling his sleeves up to get things done, to inspire teams by example. I’m driven to make a positive difference. I have an ability to look at complex issues, and simplify them.
I develop deep rapport quickly with those around me, I become intensely loyal... and I drove and galvanised the people.
But with these ‘gifts’ came a dark-side, deep rooted behaviours that held me back. These narratives triggered when my mindset was compromised and when I wanted to achieve transition. My work and most importantly my relationships suffered dearly.
You see… when, like me you strive to pursue the next thing, the next challenge, those around you feel invisible. They feel not valued. You have a selfish focused ‘tunnel vision’, people do not feel welcome in that world… you draw inwards and they back away.
When you know you have to cross that space between where you are now and where you want to be, fear of failure dominates you mind.
You over think things, you freeze, you procrastinate and you don’t take those most needed small steps. You don’t move on. You cannot re-connect. You fail to see the subtle things and you alienate those people around you.
Connection is a basic human need. I utilise my mindimage® technique to empower you to transition.
