About Me

Have you ever gone to a friend when you're trying to work through something and you share your thoughts only to have them turn the conversation around onto something having to do with them? The response usually goes something like, "ugh I know. That's sooooo hard, I just had the same thing happen to me and....". Or sometimes it seems like everyone just wants to give you a fix instead of really listening to what you have to say. That one sounds like, "Yeah, that's difficult. You should just...". And all the time you're thinking, I'm definitely not going to do that. ​

I have a passion for helping people in a way that empowers them to get to their own edge and draws on the incredible qualities and characteristics they have. It's the reason I started my career in social work. I don't pretend to know what's best for you- I'm not you, so how would I know!? I'm not here to give you advice or tell you what's worked for me in similar situations- what good would that really do?

Not only have I completed rigorous Coach training (through the "Harvard of Coaching schools" no less- The Coaches Training Institute), but I have years of experience working with individuals going through some of the most challenging times of their lives. I also have a Masters degree in Social Work which is the backbone of my work with people. More than just a career, being a social worker is about having a certain mindset and approach to working with people that involves deep levels of empathy, compassion, support, and perspective.

Coaching with me may not always feel comfortable (that's actually a good thing!), but my goal is for you to transform in whatever way you most want that to happen.
