A little over a year ago, our church started a discipleship program. I was lucky to get Arletta. I was at a difficult time in my life. Besides knowing the Bible, she was also a great life coach. Arletta worked tirelessly to get me the best result. Today, I am at a much better place in my life. She is readily available and approachable. I am now proud to call her my friend. Thanks, Kim

This woman has taken me on a journey and not just any journey. A spiritual journey. She Has taken me to depths of my own heart and soul , I didn't even think possible. It was through Christ that she led me. She has mentored and guided me through my sorrow and hurt and pain. When we met five years ago I was lost. I was so angry and hurt and bitter. I didn't even realize how bitter I was. I just knew I was turning away from people, and I was hurting. She didn't rush me, didn't push me. She simply told me to put my faith in Jesus. That the Lord makes beauty from ashes. I needed to surrender, to accept defeat. Through scripture, through kindness, through love and joy, she guided me. Through it all it took time, it took love, it took grace to have the forgiveness that the Lord has given us. I reached a breaking point of not being able to carry my heavy load on my own. A point where I got down on my knees and cried out to him, on the bathroom floor. Sobbing out to him to take the pain away, to forgive me of my sins. I confessed it, I surrendered, I accepted defeat and the Lord heard me. What replaced my hurt and my sorrow, and pain that I had been holding for so many years was joy like I can't explain. A smile covered my face and hasn't left and oh the peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. And when I took a breath, it was God's breath that filled me. And I could finally breathe with no restraints. She has not stopped leading me. Has not stopped guiding me to God's love. Has not stopped leading me to Christ.
