About Me

Annie Chen is third culture Chinese American and the daughter of an immigrant. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with a masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction Applied Behavior Analysis, and a bachelors in psychology. Annie has spent the last 9 years specializing in behavior intervention services for children with autism and other diagnoses in a variety of settings and training staff in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), both in the greater Atlanta area and San Francisco bay area. She has unique experience applying ABA in the foster care system, leading inclusive-focused ABA services for preschools and teachers, crisis prevention, and working with a multicultural audience. She has done staff trainings of 50+ as well as remote group parent trainings as far as Tanzania, Africa. Annie currently focuses on adults and children seeking to gain clarity, independence and skills that will create significant growth and change in their lives. She utilizes individualized evidence-based tools to help her clients because is going to work for each person will look different. She utilizes both methods of ACT (acceptance commitment training) and ABA in her services with clients.
