About Me

I am a certified mBIT coach. I am also a writer and an academic at the University of Kent. I am passionate about coaching, self-improvement, yoga, literature, and cats. In 2013, I took a Foundation Course in Psychoanalysis at the Institute of Psychoanalysis in Maida Vale, London. At the University of Kent, I have worked in student wellbeing and pastoral care roles for many years.

I am a literature scholar by training, and I am really interested in the power of stories and metaphors to inspire us to become better versions of ourselves. I have published a novel, The Truth About Julia, and various academic books and papers. I regularly write reviews for the Times Literary Supplement.
