About Me

People feel seen and heard when I listen to them. I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration.

I see possibility and spot strengths where you might not (yet). I’m certified in Positive Psychology Coaching from Wholebeing Institute.

I can help you find and amplify your own voice. I founded and led a massive grass-roots live storytelling series in 60+ cities and women’s leadership incubator called LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER (also an acclaimed anthology published by Putnam Books, 2015).

I know the inner critic well. I’m a professional creative with enormous ambition and equally enormous vulnerability. I understand how these go hand in hand, and how to persevere even when outcomes lie outside of our control.

I’m a parent and partner. My husband and I have been together 25 years, and we’re raising two teenagers. I’ve also worked with grieving families. Whatever you’re going through, you’re not alone.
