About Me

Born a dreamer and an empath, I discovered very early my life’s purpose; to help others create positive change in their lives. Armed with a Master’s Degree in social work, I gained experience with local mental health practitioners and institutions before establishing a successful psychotherapy practice in Olney, Maryland. Throughout my professional career, I focused on the interconnection between the mind and body. Employing these holistic approaches in combination with traditional therapies has measurably improved my clients' mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Motivated by these positive changes in so many clients, I was determined to expand the services I could offer my local community. Three years ago, the Psychotherapy Center bloomed into Flourish Therapy and Wellness Center, offering a scientifically proven integrative approach to mental health and wellness.

The experience I gained in creating two new business by taking risks and overcoming the doubts and uncertainty made me realize that I could help others achieve their own entrepreneurial dreams. Through Andrea Lopes Coaching, I have helped clients successfully navigate major life transitions and career changes, creating healthy, well-balanced lives, and so much more. My decades of education, business experience, counseling background, and personal growth journey provide a unique set of resources for my clients. My compassion and joyful outlook helps to build rapport and trust. From inception to goal completion, I am accessible, approachable, and unwavering in my support.
