About Me

After working in the traditional field of counseling for nearly 10 years, Alyssa has made a conscious decision to move into a privately owned and operated wellness life coaching business. Alyssa achieved her Addiction Counselor Certificate in 2011. In 2012 she became an Ordained Minister. In 2017 Alyssa graduated from Ashford University double majoring in Complementary and Alternative Health, and Psychology. In 2017 she entered into a graduate program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the estimated graduation date in the year 2020. She has 10 years of counseling experience with children, adolescents, and adults. After spending so long in the field it has become clear that counseling is not always the best answer. There are many restrictions and barriers created by many things and managed care companies are one of them. Alyssa has discovered that life coaching could be the change that we are all looking for. No more sterile environments. No more meeting in an unfamiliar place or room. She realized she was not living or speaking her truth and it was time for a change.
