With a passion for educating and empowering people to achieve financial wellness, Allison Sanka, AFC®, Principal and Founder of Journey Financial Wellness, helps her clients manage the emotional aspect and overwhelming nature of personal finance. She loves helping people improve their quality of life and decrease stress by teaching them how to take control of their money.

Having overcome financial challenges herself, Allison’s approach to financial coaching is straight-forward, approachable, and judgment-free, which creates a comfortable, productive environment wherein individuals and couples can make informed decisions about their money. Equipped with actionable tools and tactics, people can better ensure that their money is working for them to achieve their goals. She welcomes all to her practice.

Allison established Journey Financial Wellness while working as a financial wellbeing coach for Operation HOPE, the largest financial empowerment nonprofit in the U.S. She made her foray into personal finance following over two decades in marketing with international companies, including Disney, ESPN, Yahoo, and MTV. She has started and run 3 successful companies as well. Allison holds a BA from The University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Marketing from The Wharton School of Business.
