Hi! My name is Dr. AJ. My tagline in life is “Making the Invisible Visible For Better Inclusion”. I am a social psychologist, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion coach and consultant, a certified life and executive coach, a published author, a blogger, a speaker, and a podcaster. I am also a wife, a mother, and a two-time Traumatic Brain Injury survivor.

I founded AJ Rao, LLC to provide implementable, profitable solutions in leadership and personnel development for intentional inclusion. I also founded the LEGupward Institute, a branch of AJ Rao, LLC, to offer e-courses, trainings, webinars, workshops, and, one-on-one and group coaching packages. All of my work is rooted in a proprietary framework of intentional inclusion, the LEGupward Framework, that I developed, not just by leveraging my two decades of academic experience and expertise in multi-disciplinary research, but also from the insights I gained from being rendered invisible in so many ways, despite my experience.

As a coach, I help transform people like you into Visible Leaders. This way they can shatter any restrictions placed on you by yourself, or by society. I guide you on discovering, developing and sustaining your personal identities, core values and strengths, and help you align your purpose, passions, and vision to achieve the success you want to in life, in your own way!

As a DEI consultant, I partner with organizations to create an intentionally inclusive organizational culture by identifying, developing, nurturing, and, leveraging Visible Leaders across all levels.
