The Somatica Institute
The Somatica Institute is the global leader in sex and relationship coach training. We are dedicated to teaching the Somatica Method and through it, develop the next generation of cutting-edge, successful coaches.
In 2010, Dr. Danielle Harel, PhD, and Celeste Hirschman, MA, co-founded the Somatica Institute with a shared desire to fill the world with love, pleasure, and deeply satisfying relationships by training and certifying experiential sex and relationship coaches. Rooted in emotional and erotic connection, the Somatica Method combines talk-based coaching with experiential practices to help coaches and clients expand their skills and beliefs around intimacy. This process is the key to changing your existing habits, uncovering your true self, and unlocking a more fulfilling sex life and deeper relationships.
The Somatica Institute has since empowered hundreds of aspiring sex coaches, spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Our alumni have gone on to achieve fulfilling careers as sex and relationship coaches, authors, podcasters, TV and film intimacy coordinators, and thought leaders.
The Somatica Institute is accredited by two industry-recognized certifying bodies: The American Board of Sexology (ABS), and the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT). Graduates from the Somatica Sex & Relationship Coach Certification Program who wish to pursue a professional career as a sexologist are eligible to sign up for individual ABS membership and provide professional assurances to their clients.
As a CAMFT-approved Continuing Education Units (CEU) provider, the Somatica Institute is able to offer BBS CEs to its students. For mental health professionals, these CEs add sex and intimacy tools to their marriage & family therapy practices. The training is also suitable for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) looking for continuing education units.
