Light University—the educational division of the nearly 50,000-member American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)—has been offering training and continuing education for individuals who have a desire to increase their knowledge and skills in biblical counseling, life coaching, crisis response, and Christian care. As a result, more than 150,000 individuals and churches have enrolled in our programs. Our students are serving in churches, counseling agencies, and communities all over the world. They are counselors, Sunday school teachers, pastors, women ministry leaders, lay leaders, and more… individuals just like you.

Our purpose and desire are to equip you to be better able to do the work you are passionate about… and through our certification program, provide you with the recognition and credibility earned through the trustworthiness of the Light University curriculum.

Light University students have the unique opportunity to work toward multiple levels of life coaching certification through a partnership with the Board of Christian Life Coaching (BCLC).
