What do you want to achieve in the next year by hiring a coach?
Transition from current role in a museum nonprofit to a job in the corporate world with better pay, recognition for my accomplishments, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement. A job that takes me to the Midwest periodically, where my family is all local, would be a huge bonus.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm 41 and based in NYC. I'm currently struggling to narrow down my career search by field or industry, and also with how to present my broad experience and accomplishments on a resume. I've been doing project management work in a library/museum nonprofit for the past several years, and recently completed a Google Project Management certification. I also have a PhD in music history, and supported myself during 10+ years of grad school by working as an ASM at one of the top-earning Starbucks locations in NYC, teaching entry-level college courses, and at my current role doing project management. I'm ambitious and have had a big impact in all three of these professional spheres. I will add a lot of value to my next role, if only I can figure out what it is and get hired into it!
