I was frantically looking for my binoculars when my spouse quietly lifted up the jumble of wrapping paper on my desk to show me exactly where I left them. "There they are. Thank you!"
Later, I was baking sugar cookies and for the life of me, I could not find the Christmas-shaped cookie cutters. Sure enough, I asked my daughter for help and she found them in a matter of seconds. "Thank you for helping me."
While I struggle to find everything from my keys to my favourite scarf, one thing I'm getting much better at is finding and acknowledging the kindness around me. So that's your task today. Look around for all the little things people do and acknowledge them with a heartfelt thank you.
