Day 4: Random Acts of Candy
I did this! 542Posted on December 4, 2013
Hi, it's me again, the Acts of Kindness Polar Bear. For today, you can call me Spandy Bear. Don’t I look groovy in my tight bright spandex!
Enough about me. Did I tell you how amazing you are? Over 300 kind acts for animals were recorded yesterday.
So for today's Act of Kindness, it only seems fair that you give treats to humans. I’d like you to surprise a friend, family member, or maybe even a stranger, with a yummy treat, a.k.a. #RandomActsOfCandy.
* Grab a box of fruit (nature's candy) for your coworkers
* Buy your mom / brother / aunt their favorite chocolate delight
* Offer a stranger a bag of jelly beans
You can make it really fun. One of my wild, and somewhat untamed friends wanted to be the first to try it out. His name is Spandy Andy and I caught some video of him performing #RandomActsOfCandy (you may have seen one of his videos before).
Warning: The video below is great but not all strangers will be receptive to receiving random candy and, well, you should dress appropriately for the weather. Not everyone can pull off spandex in December like me!
Just one of the many #KindnessAmbassadors,
“Spandy” Bear
P.S. In just 3 days, we have completed more than 1200 AoKs! Woohoo! And, we still have a way to go to reach our goal of 10,000 Acts of Kindness. Would anyone you know love to participate in the advent calendar? If so, take 30 seconds to extend a personal invitation to them. With your help, we can do it!
