Helping you find a way to work that works for you.

If you want to:

→Create a routine you can finally stick to

→ End the negative dialogue in your head that keeps you feeling lost, stuck, and overwhelmed

→Learn how to stop procrastinating and get in flow so you can finish your work and reach your goals

You’re in the right place.

Hey 👋🏿 I’m Charla, a screenwriter and perfectionism + procrastination coach.

I help smart, ambitious creatives and solopreneurs end the negative internal dialogue that keeps them stuck, get organized, and create a productivity system that compliments their authentic selves so they can finish their work and reach their goals with ease.

I’ve been where you are. When I wasn’t making the progress I thought I should be with my goals, I thought it was because something was wrong with me. I beat myself up and pushed harder, only to suffer a tremendous burnout because of it.

That’s when I learned that overcoming procrastination is not about about copying what works for others and jamming it into your own life. Instead, it’s about creating a system based on who you are, what you want, and what works for you.

You don’t have to wake up at 5am, take ice-cold showers, or even show up as your most perfect self every single day to get work done.

But you do have to show up, over and over again, messy and imperfect and let that be okay.

Because the more you do, the easier it becomes.

I’d love to show you how. Sign up for a one-on-one session.

I went into the coaching sessions feeling totally burnt out and stuck. I felt I had advanced as far as I could on my own, and I didn't know what else to do to continue moving forward in my career. I was exhausted and had lost the joy in my craft. Charla helped me re-identify why I love comedy and writing as well as lay out what I needed to do to take the next steps on my career path. We also were able to identify habits and schedules that work best for me, and that has helped me continue to be productive in a sustainable way even after our sessions ended.”

Why Coaching Instead of Therapy?

Therapy is great for unpacking your personal history, and even diagnosing and prescribing medication if things are severe. Oftentimes, it may even be helpful to do both traditional therapy and coaching at the same time. The big difference? Coaching is results-oriented. You start with a tangible goal and have an accountability partner not just cheering you on, but also giving you the tools and the framework to achieve it. Coaching can give you a new approach to life that allows you to grow in ways you didn’t know were possible. It doesn’t matter the size of the goal or whether it’s professional, mental, physical, or to improve relationships. No matter what it is, coaching can be a tool to live a deeper, more fulfilling life.

“Charla’s approach is thoughtful, intentional, and grounding. Our coaching session helped me to put words to the negative feelings I was having about my career transition which allowed me to look at my challenge areas (AND my areas of success) with renewed, clear focus.”

“This is a must for anyone looking to pivot, reset, or get perspective on their writing goals and habits. I felt seen and safe to share my most ambitious goals and built practical steps to achieving them.”
